Beretta 694 Plus Sporting

The Beretta 694 Plus Sporting has been specially developed for sports in collaboration with high-level sports shooters. This has resulted in a number of innovative solutions that give the shooter an advantage.

For example, the stock and action have been made a bit narrower at the connection so that you have more visibility while shooting. The grip and cheek piece have also been adjusted for better grip and balance. In order to further adjust this balance yourself, a number of weights of 20 and 40 grams are supplied with the rifle.

Renewed fore-end

The fore-end of the 694 Plus Sporting has also been renewed, the system that holds the barrels and bascule in place is now also adjustable, why is this important? The weapon is precisely adjusted from the factory with regard to play, this play becomes slightly more as it is shot. Now this is very normal, but Beretta has chosen to make this adjustable so that the shooter can get it as tight as it left the Beretta factory.

The fore-end has been made slightly wider and provided with more checkering so that the shooter has a good grip and therefore maximum control. On the underside of the fore-end, the part that touches the barrels has been minimized. This ensures that there is less heat transfer to the fore-end and that is nice if you shoot a lot of cartridges!

Adjustable trigger

The 694 Plus Sporting has a sporty and modern appearance with a polished action finished with a blue border. The top of the action  and the key with which you open the weapon are finished matt with an anti-glare finish so that you do not suffer from glare. The weapon also has a trigger that can be adjusted in 3 positions.

The ejectors are equipped with extra strong springs so that they eject the cartridges well time and time again.

B-Fast weights

Under the fore-end there is the possibility to place extra weights between the barrels, these together with the weights that you can place in the stock ensure an optimal balance that suits the shooter. Not only do you adjust the balance with this, but you also influence the storage of the weapon.

Beretta Steelium Plus Barrels

The Steelium Plus barrels, as seen on this 694, have a transition cone in 3 places that are elongated and gradually narrow. The advantages of this according to Beretta are:

- Closer, more uniform shot pattern (thanks to less shot deformation) with high penetration and more energy transfer.

- Faster and more accurate second shot.

- Less resistance of shot through the barrel and a reduction in storage.

These Beretta Steelium Plus barrels are threaded for the Beretta Optima HP Extended Chokes, 5 of these chokes are supplied with the gun and are also available separately.
