This Smith & Wesson is from the full size frame series, and is therefore suitable for magazines with a larger capacity. The weapon has a very nice tungsten gray cerakote finish that protects the weapon well.

Metal means that this series is no longer equipped with a polymer frame but is made of high quality T6 Aluminum, which increases the weight slightly compared to the polymer frames, but this results in slightly less upward recoil of the weapon.

All M2.0 Smith & Wesson magazines fit in this weapon, holsters and grips for M2.0 pistols can also be used with this model.

Grip on the situation?

Smith & Wesson has positioned the grip at 18 degrees on this model. This small difference compared to previous models results in less muzzle climb and a better grip. You will also experience that the pistol fits more naturally in your hand and that you can quickly reach the target you are aiming for.

The grip has 4 different grip pieces on the back that allow you to adjust the circumference of the grip, which also allows you to adjust the position of your finger in relation to the trigger. At the front of the grip you will find a "front strap" with a coarse texture so that you have a good grip on the weapon.

Smith & Wesson has ensured that both left and right-handed shooters can make optimal use of this pistol with the M&P 9 M2.0 Metal Optics Ready. For example, the wide slide catch can be found on both sides of the weapon, and the magazine catch can easily be changed from right to left.

The gun is also optics ready and comes with a number of mounting plates for different brands and models of red dots.

The trigger system has also been updated and has a flat face front where you can always place your finger in the same place and therefore shoot more consistently. The sear, the connection between the trigger and the firing pin, has also improved, this is noticeable by a constant trigger pressure and a short reset.

Fast reloading

Not only do you have a good grip with this weapon while shooting, but you also have a good grip on the slide if you want to load or unload, for example. The "serrations", which are the milled parts where you have a good grip on the slide, are made in such a way that you have a firm hold even when you wear thin gloves.

If you want to mount a laser or a lamp on the weapon, you can do so effortlessly by attaching it to the picatinny rail at the front, under the barrel.

The 1 in 10" twist barrel with a length of 4.25 inches is located slightly lower in the gun than previous models, which reduces upward recoil and ensures that you are back on target faster after every shot.

Complete pistol

The weapon is supplied with 2 magazines of 17 rounds and 4 different grip plates, because the pistol is supplied Optics Ready, 7 adapter plates are also included for different Red Dots. The weapon also contains a tool, by removing it you can exchange the grip plate for a different size.
