The popular N140 powder from Vihtavuori was developed for the 7.62x53R cartridge of the Finnish army, the powder is therefore one of the longest produced types of powder from Vihtavuori and also one of the most sold in the Vihtavuori division.
The tubular shaped N140 powder has a length of 1.0mm and a diameter of 0.9mm. Due to its structure, shape and graphite coating, this powder works perfectly in all reloading equipment and can be dosed accurately. The average burning speed of this powder makes it very suitable for hunting and shooting sports.
N140 is not designed to reach extremely high speeds, but it is certainly a very good choice if you go for accuracy. N140 powder is suitable for many different cartridges such as .223 Remington, .308 Winchester and .30-06 Springfield to name a few.
