Hornady's lead-free ECX bullets are machined from one piece and feature a flat polymer tip. The bullets produce a high shock effect, deep penetration and retain 95% of their weight on impact. The flat polymer tip is forced back into the body upon impact, which ensures uniform expansion. The grooves on the bullet body provide improved ballistic properties.
