N160 powder from Vihtavuori is particularly suitable for larger and magnum caliber cartridges. Especially calibers with a heavier projectile than average, such as the .30-06 Springfield with a 220 grain projectile.
Calibers such as the .243 Winchester, .260 Remington, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5×55 SE, 7 mm Weatherby Magnum, .300 Winchester Magnum, .338 Winchester Magnum and all Winchester Short Magnums with a heavier projectile also work well in combination with N160 powder. .
